Alaska Private Time Frames

Step 1: Notice

Prior to furnishing to require owner to provide important notifications to suppliers and subcontractors. Please check the Speed Bumps.

Step 2: Lien

File within 120 days after last furnishing or within 15 days of the owner's recording notice of completion.

Step 3: Foreclosure

Within 6 months of the claim filing. If an extension notice is recorded during the original 6 month period, then suit must be brought within six months after the recording
