Step 1: Bond Claim
  • Within 90 days of last furnishing.

Step 2: Suit Against Bond
  • More than 90 days after the last day of labor or material for which claim is made, but within 1 year from the date final labor was performed or the material was supplied

Bond Bits

  • Amount of Bond: 50% of prime contract price.
  • Contracts less than $100,000 are excluded from bond requirements.
