Guam Private Time Frames


Step 1: Notice
  • Serve notice to the owner and prime contractor within 20 days of first furnished labor, service, equipment or materials to the job.
  • A late notice may be served but will only be effective for furnishing within 20 days of the notice.

Step 2: Lien
  • Not before last furnishing, but within 90 days of last furnishing. See Speed Bumps for potential shorting of lien timeframes.

Step 3: Foreclosure
  • Within 90 Days of recording lien.
