Step 1: Notice
  • Non-Statutory: NACM recommends sending a non-statutory notice within 45 days of last furnishing.

  • Claims over $300, within the earlier of 40 days after the substantial performance or abandonment of the contract.
Step 3: Foreclosure
  • Within 2 years after the date of registration or 30 days of notice to commence.
