Step 1: Notice
Prime Contractors – If a written contract exists the prime provides written notice in the contract. If a written contract does not exist, within 10 days after the work or improvement is agreed upon.

from first furnishing.

Step 2: Lien
File within
120 days
of last furnishing and send notice of the filing to the owner by certified mail.

of last furnishing.
