Statute

Step 1: Notice
  • Non-Statutory: NACM recommends sending a non-statutory notice in conjunction with first furnishing.
  • Please note the very short window for lien.
Step 2: Lien
  • Within 45 days last furnishing, termination or abandonment.
Step 3: Foreclosure
  • Within 45 days from the last day on which the claim of lien could have been filed, or within 90 days from the day on which the period of credit expires, where the period is mentioned in the claim.
